The Assyrians are a nation without a state and their stories, traditions and history must be preserved. Through the titles it releases, Gilgamesh Press promises to take an active part in keeping the Assyrian culture alive.
Gilgamesh Press’ first book featuring the goddess Ishtar will boast three novellas, written by Cat Sparks, Deborah Biancotti and Kaaron Warren. More on this can be found in Books.
Gilgamesh Press has a vision, which is to promote awareness of the Assyrian people and their history through literature.
The aim is to produce quality books, about Assyrians – by Assyrians and also writers from other cultural backgrounds – with the Assyrian culture, history and mythology as the focus.
